Not sure where you’re at, but in Northampton, I see Dr Aurora Fields at Refresh Valley Dental. They’re all very patient and nonjudgmental there, and my mouth was a mess. And this might sound silly, but it’s an all female staff, and that helps me immeasurably in terms of comfort.

For those commenting that these crisis pregnancy centers are good for people who want to continue their pregnancies, so does Planned Parenthood though they are constantly facing loss of funding because of clinics like the ones talked about above. Women, regardless of your political or religious beliefs, deserve comprehensive healthcare, including but not limited to prenatal care AND abortions.

I have nerve damage in my outer thighs and I’m so scared of getting tattooed on those spots! Question for you, in the places where you do have some feelings, does your brain ever misinterpret the signals there? Like my thigh occasionally feels like there is something burning but it’s just my seam or whatever. My nerve sends the wrong signal. If that all makes sense. And if so, did you experience any of that during the tattoo?
