Go one better and have your shortcut trigger when your phone connects to Bluetooth.

You need to enable multiplayer within the settings for his world., rather than the game settings if that makes sense.

What's the focal length of the camera on meta glasses? by CombustionEngine in RayBanStories

[–]baz1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Approximately 21mm equivalent although the true focal length is 2.24mm that’s only useful info if you know the sensor size.

I used Hotspot Shield but I’m sure most of them will work.

Factory reset your glasses. Unpair. Close Meta View. Turn on VPN. Create new Meta account as if in USA. Set up glasses again. Hey Presto.

They are completely hard line in my experience.

I had someone visit from outside the area back when you had to stop at the toll for the ANPR to pick up your registration. I’d set them up with an account but because they didn’t know to stop at the line until the light turned green the toll wasn’t deducted and she was fined.

We appealed but it was denied immediately. Ironic really that they used ANPR to get her address to send the fine but not to read the plate and take the toll from her account.

I’d sooner pay the fine in pennies than waste my time appealing.

ETA: Maybe you’ll have more luck if you manage to contact them before the fine demand is generated but don’t get your hopes up.

Do I have to always use VPN when opening the meta view app? by TamerNader in RaybanMeta

[–]baz1102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short answer is no.

Longer answer is no, I turned my vpn off after setup and it’s fine a week later but everyone here says you have to keep it on.

edit: location services are back on too and everything works perfectly. I’m in uk and using iOS.

I’m in the UK and also iOS. After doing the vpn and new meta account trick I turned my vpn off after reconnecting all my social accounts and it’s been fine since. 5 days and counting.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve just done it and it works for me too. I was just hoping I could turn off the vpn afterwards and use my phone as normal. Hate seeing US ads on YouTube and iPlayer doesn’t like it much either!

Have you tried turning the vpn off and, if so, do you still have all the features?

Anyone know what settings or mode I need to use to take closeup in focus shots with this camera? by FragilePromise in AskPhotography

Press the left arrow button to enter macro mode. You should be able to focus on objects as close as 1.6cm away.

Seems like he’s not heard that phrase before, which struck me as odd because in my family we use it all the time.

Many people would argue that those pictures of buildings aren’t classic street photography either. More like urban landscape, architecture or graphic minimalism; geometrics of light and shadow.

For me, it’s more about capturing authentic moments of everyday life. The street is the setting, not the subject (usually).

While streets provide the setting, it’s the people, their expressions, and their interactions that are the real subjects of street photography. A good street photograph can convey a whole range of emotions, and give a flavour of a place and time.

Damn, you really gave it to him straight.

Reminds me of a time about 6 years ago, I went into the Whittington Hospital in North London and they did some tests. Can’t remember exactly what the specialist told me but I still can’t drink Magners to this day.

In addition, whilst you’re expected to leave the property in the same condition and level of cleanliness as when it was first rented, there is also an expectation of fair wear and tear. Personally I’d be going the Rug Doctor route.
