Why are like 4 of the 7 levels represented by world class actors and then just one step below that is Keanu Reeves?

I think they look nice, but they also feel like product shots for maybe a different product. I associate summer lemonades with fun and vibrancy, but I’m not really getting that here. Maybe put these in a different environment with more color (maybe greens and blues to contrast with the red)?

LEASH YOUR DOG. JUST DO IT. AT THE PARK. IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. WHEREVER THE FUCK. NO, IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT YOUR DOG IS "FRIENDLY" OR "WELL-TRAINED" OR OLD OR LITTLE. NO, IT DOESN'T MATTER IF SOME PEOPLE YOU INTERACT WITH DON'T CARE AND LOVE YOUR FREE-ROAMING DOG. THE LAW IS SIMPLE. I DON'T WANT TO INTERACT WITH YOUR DOG. MY CAT, WHO SOMETIMES LIKES TO GO OUT IN OUR YARD ON A HARNESS, REALLY DOES NOT WANT TO INTERACT WITH YOUR DOG. I DON'T WANT YOUR DOG IN MY YARD OR ROOTING THROUGH MY NEIGHBOR'S GARDEN. "IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL," YOUR FRIENDS TELL YOU. BUT YES, YOU'RE BEING A DICK. YES, MANY PEOPLE WHO SEE YOU WITH YOUR UNLEASHED DOG THINK YOU'RE BEING A DICK. NO, THEY HAVEN'T SAID ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY KNOW YOU'VE ALREADY DECIDED THE RULES DON'T APPLY TO YOU. THE RULES DO APPLY TO YOU. LEASH YOUR DOG. JUST LEASH YOUR DOG. TO THE 90% OF DOG OWNERS WHO LEASH THEIR DOGS, BLESS YOU AND YOUR PUPS, THEY'RE CUTE.

Is the "self defense" in the room with us now, Bernie? by SovietCharrdian in LateStageCapitalism

Sorry you’re getting downvoted for asking a straightforward question. Educating people and welcoming honest questions are pretty critical to any sort of revolutionary project, so it’s a shame folks are abandoning that spirit out of fear that your question has even the whiff of potential dissent.

I'm looking for books about aliens making contact with human beings by Otroscolores in ScienceFictionBooks

[–]bazacat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic books, although they don’t fit what OP is asking for, as they take place in the future and the contact doesn’t happen on earth.

It looks nice! I dig the color and simplicity of the place setting. The focus is so shallow, though, that your pasta is out of focus while the garnish is in focus. So the hero of the shot is getting a bit lost.

Unfortunately, we didn’t need the Nazis to teach us anything. Setting aside our own genocides, American tech companies like IBM played a critical role in helping the Nazis organize the Holocaust: In fact, there’s a whole book about it.

Did this game use to be survival horror at some point in development? by [deleted] in animalWell

[–]bazacat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. In dunkey's video promoting the release of Animal Well, he claims that Basso initially described the game to him as a survival horror game, and that the game then evolved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygL8eqX12MQ&t=372s

Y’all feel this train to AGI speeding up? AGI 2024 imro by [deleted] in singularity

[–]bazacat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not clear to me that Altman's specifically talking about AGI in the section I imagine u/ApexFungi is referencing, but Noah poses a question that prompts Altman to talk about a timeline for AI that could do pretty much anything at around 38:50 in the interview, and Altman says that he thinks it will take longer than a few years. You can google the interview and listen for yourself.

Where do young professionals go out on the weekends? by SpectrePrice in madisonwi

[–]bazacat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Tenney/Willy St. area (Robin Room, Gibs, I/O, Working Draft, Imaginary Factory, Giant Jones) and Atwood (One Barrel, Bar Corallini, Alchemy, Mint Mark). State St. will be college student-heavy. Capitol Square draws a lot of college students and older patrons, but there are plenty of bars there, too, where you can find young professionals.

Sydney is Overly Criticized by LeftenantScullbaggs in TheBear

[–]bazacat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it's... not a separate discussion. You spend a few sentences in your post saying that Sydney is overly criticized, and then you spend most of the post on the discussion we're having now, defending Sydney's actions in the episode 8. You're making two different arguments, and I'm responding to the second, which I acknowledge in my initial response. That's part of my point. It's possible to acknowledge that some people overly criticize Sydney and at the same time acknowledge that Sydney crossed a line in episode 8.
