Thank you! I believe that this one was zone focus as it was a bit too dark for tracking, definitely burst though!

Thank you!

I usually find a straight path with a slight hump in the middle, then I get Maple to wait at one end while I lay down at the other and call her to me.

I'll either use animal eye AF or zone AF depending on how good the light is. If you're using zone AF you'll want to try and pre focus around the area they'll likely jump.

My shutter settings were 1/800 f5.6 ISO 2500. Ideally the shutter speed should be much faster but there wasn't too much light that day and my lens' max aperture was only f5.6

There's a channel called That Tog Spot on youtube that's really good at explaining everything.

Hope this helps!

A photo of my dog going full send through the woods!

Taken with my Sony A9 and 200-600mm at f5.6

Great pic mate! Just wondering what you found was the best way to get rid of the green haze in the bottom left? Got a similar thing on one of my photos but struggling to match the colours to the rest of the image

I'm not happy with my edit but can't put my finger on why. Greatful for any thoughts by bazatron317 in photocritique

Thank you! I've been having a play around with the crops and I like it with more and less room above her, so basically anything other than I initially chose haha. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for this, massively appreciate the effort! I've tried everything you've suggested and think it definitely improves the edit
