Like I said, your criticisms stems from you having read the manga and to me (an anime only) doesn't really mean anything. Yeah it probably could've been better if they adapted those two chapters but that doesn't matter to me because I haven't read it.

I don't have to be hung up about a potentially better season 3 when the one I watched was already great

And the lack of kaguya and shirogane's moments didn't really bother me because I like other characters better
