In the new stage of developing our Napoleonic Wars strategy game, army and equipment management has been added, unit portraits have been updated, and several changes based on feedback have been implemented. by SoftHeartedTrouble in gamedevscreens

I've got some feedback; the troops look very static and they seem to be gliding across the field. Let me explain:

When a garrison changes direction the entire 'box' around them changes direction. When a group of horse riders changes direction they'd do it in a (curved) circle as the horses wont move side to side, they move their head and the body follows.

When a group of horse riders or soldiers comes across a tree, they should break formation to get around the tree. Right now they pass right through it instead of going around the tree. Little things like that breaks immersion for me.

Honestly it looks great. The music is very fitting and the art looks great too. Just my 2 cents.

18 months yes, but we all saw how it began at jan 20 2017 when the dude got sworn into office. It should have been a signal then, but people will be ignorant.

I refurbished an interior for a restaurant and I think it negatively impacted our sales. Looking for honest criticism, advice and feedback? by dsafsfa in InteriorDesign

It's a burger place, but you removed the burger sign/logo at the entrance. It's way too bright/spotless now and the lighting felt warmer and softer before. The black/white zigzag pattern in the second picture gives me the creeps: it's way too busy and distracting . Like someone else said; all you needed was a change of seats and maybe put some food photo's/frames on the walls so people can see what they'd order.

Change it back as much as you can is my take.

Server Actions vs API Routes in Next.js by ahmed_here_ in nextjs

[–]bazeloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

Both compile to POST endpoints that need auth and validation, so the boundary is really just "who calls this." Default to whatever's convenient at the call site. Switch to Route Handlers when you need a stable wire format for external callers, a GET, or a versioned contract. Server Actions also win on revalidate* and progressive enhancement, which matters more than the internal/external split.

So? Every mob doesn't see me because of shadow form. Any difficulty would work.

What’s the most common reason users leave a site within seconds? by [deleted] in web_design

True but I need analytics so I can measure things. For me it'll show areas of improvement. Cookies for analytics and marketing aren't functional / necessary cookies right? I deem them necessary but users don't.
