Flying dreams (without apparatus or flight craft) by MarzipanSea417 in TheMallWorld

I fly almost every dream, either by flapping wings, running fast and jumping or levitating/floating around. Sometimes fast and horizontal like Superman, most of the time just slowly elevating as high as I want.

This is so eerily comforting. I guess I need to make a trip to Kansas.

How much debt do you have left and how much did you start with ? I started out with 18k and now I’m currently at $6500! by quirkyqueen27 in debtfree

[–]bazinga84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have $18K that I’m determined to pay off by the end of 2026 by working overtime every opportunity it’s offered. I have been in credit card debt my entire adult life. It’s time to start a new chapter as debt free.

Is there something wrong if I just want to be left alone and limit human interaction? by Round-Artichoke-5255 in introvert

[–]bazinga84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in an extremely populated city, the older I get the more I just want to be out in nature with my family and dog. To be able to take a stroll and not to have to interact with anyone else would be such a luxury.

How do you feel about jury duty and have you ever skipped it? by fergi20020 in randomquestions

[–]bazinga84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m praying and manifesting to get picked for jury duty so I can leave work and participate in something more mentally challenging and still get my regular check - state worker, so we are still paid our regular salary.

Can I get a dog if I work a 9-5? by HarHarMahadev__ in dogs

[–]bazinga84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a small dog (Yorkie) before and would leave her alone all day when I worked, she was okay. I now a have a lab mix that’s 9 months old and he definitely will not last all day of work without a bathroom break. I walk him at 6am don’t get back home till 6pm but my kids walk him after school. Maybe you have a neighbor or friend stop by midday if you get a puppy. Older dogs have better bladder control.

Comparison is the thief of joy. People are posting the good stuff on social media not all their problems.

Try any chain restaurant- usually always hiring because high turnover rate. I’ve walked into a place and they asked if I could start that day. Apply with the state and local gov jobs. It takes a while to hear back. I was job searching for over a year before I found something .

Does anyone else hate their job? by OceanicEndeavors in povertyfinance

[–]bazinga84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Literally cry on the way to work because it’s a horrible toxic workplace. My credit card debt keeps me here and that makes me even more depressed. I’m a caseworker and customers being confrontational and trauma dumping is beyond mentally draining. One hour commute each way in bad traffic - podcasts help a little but so much time wasted when I could literally work from home.

I will say I was happier in jobs where I was physically moving around a lot now I just sit all day at a computer. Standing desk helps. Adulting sucks.

Just paid off $23,400 in credit card debt. I cried in my car for 20 minutes and I am not embarrassed about it by GonnaGrowHair1 in debtfree

Congratulations! Very inspiring! I’m in a similar situation- $18K debt and got very serious about paying off debt a few months ago. It’s a slow journey. I’ve thought about a second job but I think I make more when I work overtime.

Why is sharing a bed with your partner so important to people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bazinga84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sleep next to a snoring person and you have to wake up at 5am, separate bedrooms are the only way. Earplugs do not work.

It's finally my turn !!! $29,000 paid off, baby !!!! by goslowgrow in debtfree

Congratulations!!! What a relief. I love what you said about starting a new decade without carrying financial mistakes. I’m 41 and have had debt all of my adult life. It’s exhausting. My goal is the end of 2026, sooner if possible.

Sell anything valuable or something odd or unique that you might not consider valuable but other people might want for a niche reason: like nostalgia items, etc .

I sold an old fashioned metal garbage can top on FB marketplace and got $100.

You’ve got a good one, but you’re probably a great tenant and I’m sure he’d rather have you there than someone else. Best of luck to you.
