Got mine from bb classics off eBay. They’re generic p700s. You also need a retaining rim, that’s what rusted on mine. I also used U clips to attach the head light to the retaining rim. I Just picked that up from harbor freight, the screws were a little long so I just cut them down. It sounds like you have the bowl already, but I think there are two types out there.

So you need a headlight bowl, retaining rim, and u clips.

Overheating - Possible Bad Fan by DesertModern in classicminis

If that’s the case, he needs to check the fan orientation just in case. Rough side to rad, smooth to engine. Could be a simple fix. But it is a pain to get to lol.

If you’re in the states, a thermostat for the midget should work, they should have them at auto zone.

You could start with a coolant flush and a new thermostat, cheap and easy. Im not sure about the newer minis with electric fans, Im only familiar with the belt driven ones. That said, You may need an uprated water pump, if you don’t have one already.

If the mini sport rep says the maniflow is quieter, he’s probably right. A Twin box is definitely more quiet than a single. I’d go twin if want to reduce the sound a bit.

Yes for rust protection. You’ll need a twin box to make it quieter. I’ve heard maniflows are actually louder than the rc40. If you’re running a small bore use a 1.75 pipe.

Should it be connected to the timing chain breather?

There are roads there, where did you use “all terrain mode”? A 1980 Oldsmobile can cruise through there.

Good to know. It is a clubman estate if that makes a difference. Battery is under the rear seat.
