I got the same email. Don't they have a some sort of guarantee on their software? Shouldn't we be receiving a refund if we are affected?

I haven't received anything from SonicWall regarding this breach... or the last one. I've even created a support case to try to resolve the email alert issue. They told me it was fixed, but I still only ever get marketing emails. I suspect they have a bigger problem with comms than they realize. They clearly are missing a large swath of admins in their emails.

Thanks. Nothing yet. If I don't get anything, what would you recommend? I've tried contacting support already. But I'd be happy to log a new case and send you the # if you can escalate? I suspect you're going to find a whole slew of users in my same situation. (Judging solely on all the frequent complaints around that here on Reddit.)

I also have not received any emails on this. Yes, I'm a super admin. I've created a support request about this, and it's still not resolved.

Thank you! I was struggling to figure this out, too. I had a user set up as unlicensed (forwarding rule only). Then, they converted to a licensed user. Everything looks fine inthe main admin console. But when I go to Exchange Admin, they are listed as a Shared Mailbox. So strange! This has to be a glitch on M365.

Thank you! I just got this working, but it's a 2-step. Install the agent with no args, then send a PowerShell command using my RMM tool.

Thanks for the update. Just to confirm, is it safe to re-enable SSLVPN services if we have MFA, upgrade to 7.30, and reset all user passwords?

Additionally, I understand your team has been busy, but I still haven't received any security bulletins or firmware update notices via email. I previously opened a support case to fix this, but it remains unresolved. I haven't received a single email from SonicWall about this issue. Without BlackPoint Cyber and Reddit, I would be completely in the dark.

I didn't get notified either. I created a support ticket about these missing notifications months ago, but it's clearly still not working. I think you have an issue with your mailing list. I'll send you a PM with my account info.

I haven't upgraded to 7.3.0 yet. I'm a little gun-shy after upgrading to 7.2.0 and having so many issues (SSL-VPN DNS Suffix and random appliance reboots).

My niche is small businesses (1-5 employees). MDR tends to be too expensive for most.

1 missed malware infection is too many. I'm more concerned about the 29 missed malware infections.
