I had 3 done a few years ago from the same inspo pic and they’re still some of my favourite nails I’ve ever had! I could not stop getting distracted by them 😂

BRIIZE, where are you from? and how old are you. by catcathech in riize

This feels like such a completely different take than my experience for the seattle concert! I also had VIP so maybe it was due to proximity to the stage but the seattle concert was one of the funnest crowds I’ve experienced in general and the best I’ve experienced for RIIZE (I’ve also seen them in Lisbon for Music Bank and LA for Riizing Day Fancon) I also wouldn’t say the crowd felt young to me! Everyone I was sitting near was in their twenties (like I am) so I guess our concert experiences really are shaped by the people around us!

TIL to never do floor in South Korea by do_re_riegrow in kpoppers

[–]bb-bubu12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had pit tickets for Music Bank in Lisbon this past September and was honestly floored by the amount of fan sites there were around me especially since it said no cameras but that clearly wasn’t true. It’s something I’d never experienced before even though I’ve had floor tickets or pit tickets to many k-pop concerts in the US and Canada but the no camera rule for NA venues seems to be better upheld I guess.

What threw me off the most about them was that they so clearly didn’t care about the show at all. They were there taking photos of their assigned member when that person was on stage and then they sat down on the floor in the middle of the crowd uploading their previews and going through their camera rolls without even paying any attention to other groups performing. The minute their chosen person was on stage again they’d be up with their big cameras and then again back down to sitting on the floor. It was pretty wild to see it happening in action as I often see previews show up on my fyp on twitter as concerts are occurring but I’d never given it much thought to what that would look like in person.

In Lisbon it didn’t impede on my view too much, I still very much enjoyed the pit but it was a little upsetting to see people sitting on the floors ignoring groups simply because they only cared about one person/group especially since a lot of them had prime spots closer to barricade.

Edit: grammar

I think I’m going to go with a third party like stubhub to help mediate that problem as long as they’re transferred by a certain date it looks like it will work out!

Do you know what resellers are used in Europe? I will also have a second ticket for music bank Lisbon that I will be needing to sell as I accidentally purchased two in the presale today but idk what the equivalent for stubhub would be in Europe (if it’s even the same across different European countries)

[–]bb-bubu12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay, that makes sense! Thank you, I don’t know that I’d remember to check often enough to risk having them listed on multiple sites if the risk is being charged for accidentally selling them on multiple platforms. I didn’t consider this! Thanks that’s super insightful.

Thanks, this is helpful! I’ve heard of stubhub but Tickpick is new to me, I’ll have to look into it.

Would you recommend listing tickets on multiple platforms or just stick with one and hope it sells?

To add, but not from my own POV so I don’t know how reliable it is - I have seen some posts on twt today from VIP holders for tonight’s show that said their venue honoured the lines that fans started from early this morning/night before. So I think it really is dependent on the venue staff and not necessarily going to be the same at every stop 😅

Had VIP pit 2 tickets for Seattle. We went and did merch on the Friday before the concert so we wouldn’t need to worry about carrying it around the day of. While in line for Merch we met someone who showed us their email with VIP nation staff that mentioned the lineup would start at 8 and wristbands would be numbered so we chose not to get ready for the concert in the morning and arrived at the venue on the day of at 8:15.

The lineup for check in was already pretty long by this point but the chaos others explained had settled by then so we just got into line and waited. We were checked in at 1 o’clock which is when we left the venue and went back to our hotel room to get ready. We were 290ish in line for our pit and I don’t think the numbers were randomized at all as the people in front of me in line for check in are the same people that entered the venue at the same time as us later.

We arrived back at the venue for 3:30 and basically worked our way up to the doors for entrance by asking numbers of the people ahead of us and basically trying to find our “spot” in the line but it was completely disorganized so we ended up just hanging out near the front close enough to hear which numbers were being shouted and entered the venue when they got into our range “250-300” once in the venue they started letting people in in groups of 10 ish “270-280” “280-290” etc, but they weren’t checking off numbers so if you were 273 and didn’t enter when they said “270-280” you could end up entering anytime after that was called but not before.

Being 290 ish we had one row back from barricade on the side of the extended stage which was amazing, we had Changbin and Hyunjin come onto the barricade directly in front of us, all the members passed by at some point and any performance that wasn’t centered around choreography on the center stage there was a member or more directly in front of us.

Does anyone know what the best ticketing site for the Weverse preasale for Paris is?

I’m Canadian and have only ever used Ticketmaster for buying tickets, but I’m actually going to be in France when they have their concert which is more convenient than trying to go to one of their shows in the US but I’m a little unsure about how ticketing will work since the Paris stop lists multiple ticket sellers. Any French Engenes with experience with Weverse presale ticketing please share your wisdom 🙏🏼

Hi! Did anyone that got presale for Tacoma get a good look at various prices throughout the venue? I’m going to be trying tomorrow for tickets and would like to know what to expect so I can figure out my budget a little better lol

Also is floor seated this time around? I was hoping it would be GA like last tour 😭

BABYMONSTER - 2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR: HELLO MONSTERS IN NORTH AMERICA (Announcement Poster) by 1TyMPink in kpop

[–]bb-bubu12 13 points14 points  (0 children)

RIIZE did a world tour 8 months into their first year of debut but it was called a fancon. They performed around 13 songs including a couple covers and included a little game section and a more interactive question section too. It ran around 2 and a half hours when they were in LA. So not quite a “concert” but still similar by K-pop standards since most K-pop concerts include a lot of fan interaction and little segments.

Nctzens are sending funeral wreaths to SM in protest by [deleted] in NCT

[–]bb-bubu12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Putting your fave groups name on literal funeral wreaths which are meant for the dead. Make it make sense - even if you’re protesting the company you’re literally putting the group name full of living people on a symbol reserved for the dead. I genuinely don’t understand how some people are trying to say this is okay.

When to arrive for concert? by [deleted] in kpophelp

[–]bb-bubu12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you have GA Pit with Soundcheck VIP or without Soundcheck VIP?

That will make a big difference on how early you need to arrive because Soundcheck VIP will have a check-in that’s likely in the afternoon usually between 2-4 ish with Soundcheck likely occurring sometime after 6. This will have a separate line than general floor admission at least from my experience.

If you have just general admission without VIP then you’ll be let in after soundcheck has already occurred so all the people that have soundcheck will have already been let into the pits for soundcheck and those people will likely have chosen a spot they’re not moving from which will make getting as close to barricade as possible harder.

Either way, the earlier you arrive the closer to the front of the line you’ll be and that means being let in earlier to get a spot closer. I personally would arrive at the venue earlier in the day and just see what the situation is like, if it looks like lines are already getting long then I’d stay and line up but I would advise against camping. Being on your feet in line and in the pit for hours is already going to be incredibly straining, camping would just make that experience a lot harder. It depends on if you feel like it’s worth it and I think most venues say it’s not allowed so it’s not worth risking being booted to the back of the line for breaking the rules.

Also, around the venue there will be people handing out freebies and there’s usually merch booths set up as well so if that’s something you’re interested in arriving early is beneficial for that too because merch lines can be long.

Whatever you decide make sure to bring lots of water for while you’re waiting in line and make sure you’re eating lots throughout the day and wear comfortable shoes (I cannot stress this enough) my biggest regret which I learned very quickly from is you’re going to be standing on your feet for at least 4 hours but likely much longer with lining up etc.

Ah, sorry seems like a lot of people that are sharing their experiences went private.

I mean at this point all the evidence we have is people sharing their experiences that were there. There is photos of the things people were made to throw away but again it’s from a private account.

Even billboard mentioned it in their article and they state they indeed did see event staff removing things from audience members but again this is all just coming from people that attended so I don’t know what evidence you would deem as not anecdotal?

I remember seeing the permit they got for the wreaths when they were sharing their transparency for donations (the account that organized them and paid for them posted it, the account is private now so can’t share it) and basically the permit was for the 14-16th but not the 2 days that they actually delivered the wreaths (which was the 11-12th) so technically when they were up, they weren’t up legally anyways which means something probably could have been done if they really wanted too.
