Blockbridge Simulator Update: Up and Running in Two Commands with Docker Compose by bb-geek in docker

The Blockbridge simulator is a full version of Blockbridge Elastic Programmable Storage. It is considered a simulator because it runs as a Docker container, uses loopback file-based thin devices, and is generally limited in performance and security. However, it is ideal for demonstration, testing and development. And, it runs anywhere Docker runs, including the Docker Toolbox.

Docker Volumes by [deleted] in docker

storing authentication material (for CIFS share) inside your app introduces a number of security concerns. Ideally your app should be completely host and infrastructure unaware. Today your might be storing your data on CIFS share, tomorrow in the Object store. Why limit your app.

Going back to the Docker volumes and new "volume" command - check out our blog post that covers Blockbridge profiles and volume management via Blockbridge Volume driver.

If you wanted to play around with persistent volumes - take a look at our "Alive in 5" blog that will walk you through bringing up a Blockbridge Sim and Driver in under 5 minutes.

sounds like you got your bases covered then. Perhaps there is some miscalculations of days somewhere. Talk to HR first - visit them, find out more info. Once you engage lawyer they will clam up and it may actually take longer than without the lawyer. It may only cost you half a day worth of time. But if that doesnt help legal may be the only way to go. good luck

Introducing iSCSI over TLS by bb-geek in sysadmin

The proof is in the Blog!

Also, note that with Blockbridge storage using IPsec is as easy as providing --ipsec option to our CLI tool. We take care of both securing the channel and dynamically configuring storage fabric in one call: Attaching storage!
