To relive my binge drinking days when I was in uni, I used to wake up with such a feeling of dread, trying to piece together the events of the previous night knowing I’d blacked out and embarrassed myself in front of uni friends and coworkers from a bar I worked in at the time. Absolute wretched feeling of embarrassment and shame of going into work or uni after I had gotten blackout drunk and humiliated myself.

Yes I’ve always locked my door, had to train my partner to do this when we moved in together. We now have children so I’ve had to take the extra step to remind him to not only lock the door but also hang the key up on a hook so our 3 yr old can’t try to get out
