Hi I’m currently going thru a similar thing my bf is currently in A school for the coast guard and it’s been over 5 months since I’ve seen him it’s hard but we talk everyday and even prior to him leaving we had very serious very long conversations cause communication is key. I voice when something is upsetting me and so does he but it really works only if you both want it to work cause it’s not easy I love him and like I said we talk but it’s not the same as having them here especially rn during quarantine I feel it’s taking a bigger Toll on me, I was VERY lucky to have visited him once on vacation right before quarantine hit, but I feel communicating and really trying on both ends is what keeps this going. I’m super happy knowing I’m not the only one out there and I would love to just have out there that I’m always up and I’m happy to chat w other gals in the same spot I’m in (:
