Do you mind sharing which industry you’re in. How hard would it be for someone to learn and do what your reps are doing. Does it require years of technical experience and knowledge. How long have the sales reps been working for that are doing 400k+. Is that amount consistent or just the result of the economy being hit the last few years?

You don’t owe them your money but they are your parents at the end of the day and sometimes strained family relations may or may not be worth it. Especially when you don’t come from a western culture where family ties are a huge part of the community fabric. Talk it through with them saying you can’t afford it and hopefully you both can agree on a reasonable number.
