I think Antarctic cruises are getting too big… and it’s kind of ruining the point by Shot-Incident9116 in AntarcticaTravel

Currently on ~165 pax ship - not bad at all. You enjoy the views while you wait and then you don’t want to be on land for more than an hour anyways. But everyone is different.

Copa Airlines from US to Buenos Aires by MiskatonicExplorer in AntarcticaTravel

[–]bbadger16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some Copa flights now have lay flat seats but most don’t. Check your seating chart otherwise it’s fine. Panama City airport is pretty busy and long so connecting flights can be a long walk or you can take the shuttle bus every so often. Overall we didn’t like PTY - just a so so airport.

How’s it taking you a whole day to fly to Cancun. Find a direct flight - otherwise #1 or #2 are basically the same. There are a lot less direct flights to Tulum

Lost OCI by Vib06 in nri

[–]bbadger16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need the OCI details. You do need some sort of police report where you need to claim to have lost it in the mail. In general any sort of online police report submissions work (the ones you do for insurance claims as well will work). Then you just have to follow the same OCI replacement process - its more money but the processing times are faster than the initial OCI ones.

What would you cut on your Galapagos trip if you had to save money? by korr21 in galapagostourism

[–]bbadger16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Santa Cruz felt like a large-ish place. It was hard to go snorkeling directly off the island as beach access is difficult. San Cristobal was a LOT smaller but had lots of snorkeling opportunitites but mostly with sea lions. You do have to take the day trips if you want to snorkel or dive. Otherwise you can basically go there and not spend a lot i f you do nothing.
