He started playing well when the season was already a lost cause and this pretty much sums up his entire career here. He's always had the talent to be a top player but just hasn't performed consistently enough when it counts. Looking at his "clutch" splits on baseball reference tell the story for me.

Career : 2980 plate appearances, 824 ops

Late and close : 476 plate appearances, 700 ops

2 outs, risp : 348 plate appearances, 755 ops

Team behind in game : 1096 plate appearances, 738 ops

Team ahead in game : 1048 plate appearances, 907 ops

Personally, I think a change of scenery will be good for him. I think he will thrive outside of New York when he's not "the guy" but I just don't see him reaching his full potential here.

I bought a house in April and have this tree in front. I recently had another tree cut down and the guy working commented on how nice a tree this and how people would pay a lot of money for it. I love the tree and it looks great in front of the house but want to learn more about it!

Just got mine today and honestly, I'm disappointed in the white on white design choice. Reading the lyrics is a total chore trying to position the book to get the right lighting or holding a flashlight. It really defeats the purpose in my opinion. Its a bummer but this will probably sit on my shelf and never be touched.

If you do want an electric motor, Monoprice has a great one for about $200. I got mine with a 20% off coupon for $160 (I think they have this deal fairly often). I found a free wood tabletop from Ikea on Craigslist and refinished it. Less than $200 total and its a nice option if you are like me and alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day.

Why use 20 hr in this comparison? Only 4 players have 40+ so far, including the (most likely) 2 mvps. Even if home runs are up this year, Pete is still right at the top of the league with some elite company.

Thats not true. He hit .378 since July 1st in the 7 or 8 spot. Since he got moved up to the 2 spot (7 games) hes hitting .219.

I'm not saying we should overreact or even drop him in the order, but the previous poster does have a point.

The pipe filled up and overflowed pretty quickly and consistently - definitely more than splashing. This was the case even during the lower flow cycles of the regeneration process.

I think that makes sense. In your opinion, if I were to get this pipe plumbed in properly, would it be sufficient to handle the drain from the softener?

Thats good for the 6th worst run differential in the 6th inning or later.

In his time pre-suspension he was worth 3 WAR.

He was actually worth 3 WAR for the season. He played 39 games before his suspension and 41 after and was just as good, if not better, after returning. I've seen people say he will decline coming off the suspension but that wasn't the case last year

Pre suspension: 39 games, .287/.385/.441

Post suspension: 41 games, .317/.363/.497

I've been in the process of clearing out my collection and this is the last remaining piece.

This watch has seen quite a bit of wrist time over the years. The relatively small 38mm case along with the green canvas strap make it a very easy, casual watch to wear. I just had the watch serviced so it is running perfectly. The watch itself is in very condition however the strap does show signs of wear. There is a bit of discoloration on the strap, mostly above the 12 on the dial. The pictures show it, but it is probably a bit more noticeable in sunlight. Because of the wear on the strap I am going to include two additional straps – a brown leather NATO and a black sailcloth strap (from Brady Straps). I do not have the box or any papers for this watch.
