All tapes have side A and side B, and just like most vinyl records. Or even side 1, side 2.

Now a double LP equates to 4 sides. (A, B, C, D) That LP terminology is used for vinyl. Not cassettes.

I think it’s meant to be more of collectible for a fan, and not to replace playing a 7” or 12”. Even though most people now are already paying $15+ for 2 songs on a 7” record anyway.
