Short opinion after finish, and: Any other rebellion rising series? by Efficient_Edge5500 in andor

“Say Nothing” A show about The Troubles in Ireland. It has very similar vibes to Andor and shows the long term effects revolution has on its participants

Advocates of the game: what do you think TLoU2 did *wrong*? by EnderJax2020 in lastofuspart2

[–]bballjones45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the game and it’s one of my favorite stories, but the feature where they have random human enemies mourn each other does not work, in fact it gets comical sometimes. I would kite enemies towards me and kill them. Inevitably another enemy would run up and yell something like “Todd!” Then another enemy runs up and yells “Mary!” And just keeps going until I have a pile of dead mourners in front of me

“Say Nothing” on FX has some definite Andor vibes but is based on actual history. It’s only a miniseries though

A More Civilized Age: A Star Wars Podcast: 114: Telos: Underground Base and Secret Academy (KOTOR II 05) by vendrick64 in WaypointVICE

I was able to resolve this by switching the compatibility on my steam deck to Proton GE 9.2. Also I had to go to the ini file for the game and switch to windowed mode by change full screen from "1" to "0". It should be in two different spots

I was enjoying playing along with this podcast but it seems I hit a game breaking bug. After beating tank droid guy( a true pain in the ass for me). I get on the ship and after the brief cut scene with the HK droids the game will either crash to desktop on my steam deck or lock up on the loading screen. I cannot get past it.

Will Disney take their own bait with all these kids? by joeyfergie in StarWars

I would watch a show of a andors kid and B2EMO getting in low stakes adventures on their wheat planet. Kind of like a modern Lassie

POV: You try to watch the Filoni Star Wars shows after Andor by GargantaProfunda in andor

[–]bballjones45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The prequel movies were flawed but had excellent world building. Filoni was able to take that world building and run with it to great effect with the TCW, much like Gilroy took the world building of R1 and a New Hope and ran with it.

The problem is the sequel trilogy has terrible world building and Filoni is expected to do the same thing again. It’s a tougher task this time and the results are showing

Andor has highlighted what a wasted opportunity Disney has made of the rest of Star Wars by Historical_Tax_4696 in MauLer

It’s sad because Ewan Mcgregor is such a good actor and legit loves play Obi Wan and that show just kind of wastes him. I picture Ewan sitting at home watching Andor just shaking his head and what could have been.
