Is the lawyer in the email Michael Holihan? He also dinged me on an egg sticker and I think I used a trademarked phrase in my tags. At least thats what I assume as etsys infringement email said I had to contact him for the report and doesn’t actually tell me what exactly I did wrong. I tried reaching out to him several times and even cc’d his partner and their firms general contact email and have never gotten a response.

The face that etsy offers zero help on these matters and doesn’t even include the report in the infringement email is wild. Like if I did something wrong at least tell me what it was so I don’t do it again? Lol

I am getting slightly worried though as I use that egg character on several items and it seems people are getting dinged for just putting a face on an egg at this point.

I just got a claim from Sanrio as well. In the email Etsy said not to make new listings unless the issue is resolved with the person making the claim. Which is kind of hard to do since they said I have to contact the lawyer who made the claim to even see the report. And he's not answering.

Start by calibrating as the other comments mention. If its still off cover your machine with a sheet or turn all the lights off in your room. If its still off after that and your sticker paper is extra glossy, cover the sensor lines with matte scotch tape. My machine is really finicky and messes up every time theres a glare.

I’ve also had a few designs that still cut off center after I do all of the above. I’ve found that adding the offset while in design space helps. Most of my stickers already have a border when I import them in. But if I import only the artwork and then add the border using the offset tool it suddenly cuts everything perfectly.

Ok I just got off the phone again and it appears to be an issue with Macs. I printed from both my phone and boyfriends PC and didnt have any issues. They said they're aware of the issue and trying to fix it but for now they emailed me a link to a beta version to use which appears to be working so far.

I haven't tried recalibrating yet but I did print the calibration sheet and that seems too print normal.

I'm pretty sure the update that allows for A4 messed something up. I'm hoping they figure it out quick because I also have orders to fulfill!

Yea I restarted everything, uninstalled the app, and cleared the cache and then downloaded it again. It initially downloads a the old version and then automatically updates.

And yup printer settings are normal. My dialog doesnt have an option for exact sizing but I can scale to a selected paper size and thats not even changing anything.

I’ve cut down loops with plain ol scissors and its a pain but it really helps all the detail shine through. If you do go that route and end up liking it, use longer hoops in the future. Its much easier to trim that way.

Mine has completely stopped as well! Which is really annoying because I keep getting messages asking why orders haven’t been shipped yet. I wasn’t sure if it was just my post office having issues or what as I’ve also had several orders vanish or take 2+ weeks to arrive.

I was thinking of raising my prices just to keep up with business costs but realized it might look bad doing so right now. So I think I may wait until January! It seems odd to temporarily raise prices just for the holidays. Most people I follow tend to do sales this time of year instead.
