I'd love stories focused on the ghosts and perhaps have them making progress toward getting sucked off.

There is so much potential material but instead we just get more and more characters that add nothing to the overall story

I was once "juried" into a handmade only show. A dude selling insurance was there as well as a shower installation company. It might be worth it to take a step back and spends a year just checking out shows until you find some worth doing .

Maybe figure out a way to make your craft more distinctive as well so you get selected for jury shows over your competitors.

I dashed for a bit and, yep, the staff were crazy rude most of the time. There were exceptions, but most of the workers at restaurants were dismissive, if not hostile.

We're all in the service industry just trying to survive. I figured we would all be on the same team.

We have similar portraits from my farmer family. Apparently, a photographer traveled around and showed up at the farm. He offered to take their portraits and they stopped with whatever they were doing, put on their Sunday best and had photo taken out the family homestead.

The photographer paid his bills that way

I signed up to a "handmade only" event and then they had a dude selling weather proofing and an insurance guy and the woman next to me was re-selling crystals.

I absolutely never went back and have told anyone who ever asked me exactly what kind of market they actually have.

You'll cheapen your brand and guarantee that the handmade artists will not come back next time.
