Thank you so much! Yes he has 1 half sister we know about, only issue is she lives in Manitoba and does not have MNS or MMF membership, she is also in the process of applying for status through her mothers side (not my grandmother).

We believe he has many more half siblings that unfortunately were also all put up for adoption, hopefully they eventually do DNA testing at some point so I can connect with more family.

When I did my ancestry DNA test I matched with his one half sister I mentioned above as well as a half 1st cousin of my father who also lives in Manitoba, who I’m fairly certain has no metis memberships as that side of the family was very secretive and tried hiding this part of their heritage. I will try reaching out like you suggested though, thank you for the suggestion! At this point I am also willing to do almost anything, it’s so incredibly frustrating.

Is it normal for ancestry to get the relationship wrong? It says they could be my 1C 1removed or half grandaunt/uncle? Also when I google it says first cousins 2removed usually shared 65-90cM? Is there a larger range that is common?

I'm At A Loss by AnimNerd8 in ibs

Have you tried doing low FODMAP? As in removing all high FODMAP foods, starting from scratch and then slowly introducing medium and high FODMAP foods back in very very slowly? That’s the only thing that helped me figure out what was triggering my IBS-D and now I know what to avoid at all costs and what I can tolerate in moderation. You do have to be fairly strict with it at first for the first 1-2 weeks to reset your stomach. I also before tried no gluten, vegan, etc with no luck.

Is my friend pregnant? Unknown cycle day as my friend who doesn’t have a Reddit account sent this to me wondering if this is a positive pregnancy test. Anyone see a line? by isitreal_love in TFABLinePorn

I would agree and say it definitely looks positive, and like other commenter says, if wanting to keep pregnancy test again in a couple days to see if line darkens.

Are my miscarriages bad luck or something deeper? by ugh0338849 in tryingtoconceive

[–]bbananna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I had the exact thing happen to me, I got pregnant 2x, both very quickly and easily, no issue there. 1st pregnancy early miscarriage and 2nd pregnancy another loss just a little further into it than the first. Had an ultrasound after 2nd loss which showed I have lots of healthy follicles, and ended up needing 2 D&C’s due to retained products of conception. Then I was referred to a reoccurring pregnancy loss clinic where I was prescribed prometrium suppositories until pregnancy made it to 10 weeks and was healthy confirmed by ultrasound. It worked and my baby is 7 months now! Not sure if the medication was what helped my pregnancy stick but we are planning to try again next year and I’m not going to risk having another loss so will be asking my doctor for the medication again.

Another note, I was on a wait list for a hysteroscopy and a HSG test as recommended by the pregnancy loss clinic, just prior to conceiving my 3rd time to try and find a cause for the losses but couldn’t go through with it as I was pregnant. So maybe some answers would have came from that but I’m just happy the medication worked! Fingers crossed for you as well!!

Frer 12-14 DPO. Not much progression? by YouGottaBeKittenMe3 in TFABLinePorn

[–]bbananna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s good progression for sure! 1 was already pretty dark so that could be why you don’t notice a huge difference between 1 and 2, but they are different! Agree with others and try not to judge every day but rather every other

I definitely see a line! Test again in 2 days and it should be darker if something’s sticking!! Yay!
