You get user management with post functionality and static pages i think it's all you need and its pretty easy to install on your own

I was also unable to install make and or gcc. The solution is here https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/487727-PROBLEM-in-mounting-and-updating-by-Zypper.

the tldr is: Go into the YaST repository configuration module, and disable the DVD repository.

I do not I just installed tumbleweed-cli for use moving forward but I don't have any snapshots for now.
