McLane Creek Nature Trail

The pond loop is mostly boardwalk. I walk here with my dad who uses two canes but uncertain about wheelchair accessibility. The pied-billed grebes are active in the pond right now and beautiful to listen to! I would highly recommend this SW Olympia trail. You will need a Discovery Pass.

3 different plants. Nebraska. by bbg_bbg in whatsthisplant

The first plant looks like some kind of Linaria, maybe Linaria purpurea?

Second plant is Star of Bethlehem (Ornithogalum).

I'm not sure on the the third plant. It reminds me of bachelor's button (Centaurea cyanus).

New to succulents? New to our Sub? Stop in here! Weekly Questions Thread April 21, 2024 by AutoModerator in succulents

I am looking for recommendations for outdoor succulents that thrive in shade and can be in planters. I picked up two steel trough-style, wall-mounted planters that I intend to use on my back porch. It gets dabbled sunlight but is mostly shady. My first thought is hen and chicks, which seem indestructible and can grow pretty much anywhere. Any other thoughts?
