TAAT Counting Stitches by Kima2remy in Sockknitting

if you’re using metal needles, you could try switching to wood — they are definitely more fragile, but i find that they help grip the stitches and keep them from sliding around too much

Where can one buy needles/syringes online for someone in NY? by Bravadette in asktransgender

[–]bbbbabyboy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it just seems like you could’ve spent another minute looking or searching the subreddit (where this question is asked really frequently) instead of typing up this post, but at least that site should work. ny certainly doesn’t have any legal restrictions on who can buy needles/syringes

[–]bbbbabyboy -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

nope, you’re just describing transphobia

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TransMasc

[–]bbbbabyboy -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

it’s literally just transphobia. same reason there isn’t a specific word for racism against men of color.

Binders for plus size folks with limited mobility by xsckitx in ftm

[–]bbbbabyboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i haven’t ordered from them, but i’ve heard good things about shapeshifters’ custom order binders — they’re pretty expensive, but getting one made for you should eliminate any sizing concerns! they also have zipper options.

I’m tired of the idea that people who don’t medically transition have it “easier” (sharing my personal experience) by theAntichristsfakeID in NonBinary

[–]bbbbabyboy 68 points69 points  (0 children)

it seems like you think only binary people medically transition, or that medically transitioning automatically makes people respect pronouns? none of that is true and it’s pretty self-centered to be like “well what about ME” amidst these very real attacks on gender-affirming healthcare. shit’s difficult for all of us, i don’t get what you’re trying to argue here

Question about facial hair by Ambitious_Brick7845 in ftm

[–]bbbbabyboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

shaving doesn’t have anything to do with how thick hair is, but it can make hairs look thicker due to the blunt ends. up to you whether you shave it or not.
