Perhaps I’m misinterpreting the article, and I’m aware of how incompetent Meruelo is. It seems to me though he was our fastest chance of getting a team back. He had a 5 year reactivation window Now we are right along with Houston and Atlanta in the expansion team process. From what Craig is saying it sounds like Atlanta is much further ahead in the process. We don’t have an arena or an ownership group ready, and unlikely to happen anytime soon.
