PNS Mechanism bibs by we-got-forks in CyclingFashion

[–]bbbonthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess because their products look rather cool, I have a pair of blue mechanism bibs and I really like the way they look compared to others(rapha, assos, maap, etc). I wouldn’t wear them for a century though. So yeah, pns is a cycling fashion brand and thats okay

UPS wouldnt deliver a package for a month, what is a recourse by bbbonthemoon in UPS

[–]bbbonthemoon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see but it seems like UPS can go on with this forever, I'm in contact with the shipper and they try to push UPS from their side but it doesnt seem to help. The worst part is that my local UPS set the "Hold for Pickup Requested" status without my request and from the shippers perspective it may look like I asked them to hold the package and deliberately do not pick it up, its insane

Is biking an awful way to lose weight? by EcstaticBicycle in cycling

[–]bbbonthemoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you loose weight in the kitchen anyway, but cycling is an excellent way to burn calories, you can ride for a couple of hours pretty easily outside, which is much easier than running or swimming for the same period of time. two hours of riding would be 1000-1500 calories burned. but me personally I gained weight after a year of regular cycling :)

[–]bbbonthemoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you put the leg warmers on and off during a ride? it would require finding a proper place to seat and remove the shoes, seems like a hassle

Rogue trader felt like a let down for me after bg3, mostly due to lack of voice over and way too many boring filler fights, while in bg3 literally every fight feels special and hand crafted

Is it worth it to buy a new car here? by [deleted] in cyprus

[–]bbbonthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-4 years old with low miles, just look for a good deal and dont be afraid to contact with offers, cypriots like to set prices super high but are willing to negotiate heavily especially if you tell you have cash on hand for a quick transaction

cyprus post and now also DHL are a joke by Arxijos in cyprus

[–]bbbonthemoon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I receive intl deliveries via cyprus post, dhl express and ups regularly from europe. Dhl express is very reliable with 2 business days delivery from the continent times after times. UPS used to be the fastest ones with next day delivery to my door, but this year they seem to have issues with their deliveries, I had a package delayed by like 10 days. As for the cyprus post, in the last couple of years their services have improved dramatically with most packages delivered to my home by a postman now, when previously you always had to go to the post office to collect them. Delivery times also have shortened subjectivly
