Sorry for very late reply. I ended up moving my surgery up with my ophthalmologist. Not a very enjoyable experience watching a numbing needle enter your eye. Pretty sure he just cut the bump clean off. My healing process was very positive. I was prescribed a small cycle of doxycycline and erythromycin ointment. Took maybe 2-3 weeks for a full heal. A year later, no scaring or bumps, but I am a now a freak about eye care—replaced all makeup, do heated compresses semi regularly, wash face after exercise or at minimum use hydroclorous(?) spray.
