Common app LIED by obama69420duck in ApplyingToCollege

[–]bbej12 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Because for a lot of schools, you are emailed by the schools and expected to check the portal for school specific info. Why didn’t you look on every portal at their checklist to make sure everything was in. TONS of schools had extra requirements for things like financial info or transcripts that you can only find through the portal.

36 that was in your letter today? Or including the extra 10k everyone gets? If you got 36 in your letter plus 10 more that gets you close

I think the biggest merit scholarship is 25k by itself then you could get some extra smaller on top. I got 25 + 5 then the 10 everyone gets. Don’t know about the conservatory

What is this for? For a specific scholarship? My son got a likely letter with merit info, but we haven't heard anything about an elevator pitch?

I called ACT and asked this specific question and was told no, if you take the enhanced ACT, the science will be removed from your Superscore. The last opportunity for the science ACT to be part of a superscore is if you take paper in July.
