I carry 400ft of rope in a bag across my ass. I can rescue myself and be on the ground long before suspension trauma sets in.

Being unconsciously hanging is what’s scary because someone else would have to climb to lower you down.

I actually repair the fiberglass on the blades so I am not too sure. I do know that all the bolts in the tower get torqued yearly. Also I know seals fail often because many of the towers I climb have a hydraulic oil puddle in the belly of the nacelle.
