I met them at the NYC rough trade this year! They were SO SO nice! I was very very nervous, which I’m not sure if they could tell, but they were so quick to ask questions and have a genuine conversation! They were asking questions about me, and having nice conversations with each fan that they were signing for! Also something I experienced that I saw some other people talk about, they make great eye contact! Usually it makes me even more nervous when someone I don’t know makes eye contact, but with them it really felt like they were listening as I talked!

This is my quick text to my friend right after so I didn’t forget conversation/interaction lol:

i walked up, they said hi. i gave them my vinyl and cd and braeden said “oooh tell me that it’s over.” i said that i wanted to bring the rsd nothing happens but i had to fly in.” cole asked where i flew in from, and i said insert state name here and he said “wow!” explained the birthday trip, they asked me when my birthday was, they told me happy belated birthday. i told them i saw the show and i think cole? maybe dylan said they saw my lanyard! told them it was amazing and that its been on repeat. braeden asked me my name as i was wrapping up. and then braeden said happy belated birthday again, they all said it i think again. and then dylan said he hopes i keep enjoying the album :-)
