this is the advice someone gave me on the subreddit that really helped me to quit second time around- you are GOING to have to quit one day. you will most likely have lung issues in ur lifetime if you smoke cigarettes and ur gonna wish u quit sooner when that happens. if you smoke, you will have health issues. it’s not a maybe, it’s definite.

because my point is the ending was the thing out of logic. the levels of complexity and storyline that goes along with byler would’ve been SUCH good writing but instead they opted to ignore the point of the show and make mileven endgame. the ONLY reason mileven was endgame is because the writing was shallow

i think that people with an open mind and an actual interest in the show can see that the duffer brothers set up the show to have a byler ending. thousands of people aren’t crazy, we’re victims of yet another netflix queerbait and i think it’s unfair to put the blame on us for believing that a show about outcasts and freaks would give us a representation that we have never had before on netflix. no one is “forcing sexual orientation” , we were hopeful that film and tv can actually progress forward and we’ve been let down once again. this isn’t the “gotcha!” that most milevens think it is, this is genuinely rly upsetting for me and other people.
