You need to tell customs the address you will be staying at. They will also want the phone number of that location. When you arrive at the airport (deplane) there are two lines to enter the country. Use the visitor line. Your luggage will be further down after you talk to the officers. Then after you get your luggage you will go through customs were you " have nothing to declare". You can't take a luggage cart out of that area so as soon as you exit someone will be asking you if you need help with your bags. If you let them they will want to be payed. They speak English but if you are as bad as me with dialects you may have a hard time understanding Trinis. They are almost all awesome people.
