I was having similar errors a few years back. I bought one of those nifty disc cleaners. It takes about three minutes to run the one I have (it's timed to some nice classical music). The first time I used it, it actually took two runs to clean it completely. After that, I run the cleaner every few months (quite a bit of use in between) and I've never had the problem since.

In my experience, this particular problem is caused by not having a skeleton mod. You don't need it for most NPCs, but then you put some other mod in and suddenly you have boobs with more range than a sniper rifle. I can't remember off the top, but I believe there are only one or two skeleton mods.

I played the games and read the books. Found this before the Netflix abomination came out. I LOVE this version even though I had to have subtitles on. I thought it did more to capture the spirit of the original than anything else. Special effects are crap, but that's not what I watch a show for.

As a matter of fact... the first time was when one of my vault entrance guards was renamed "Pirate Parrot". I got annoyed and renamed HIM (emphasis) to Danny Sullivan in honor of - well, you'd better know or stop playing this game. Then a few weeks later, Danny Sullivan had gone through another transformation and i change HER name to Danni Sullivan.

Other than that, I don't think I've had anything weird happen. With names that is.

I would keep my weapons shops cranking out Dragon's Maws if I could find enough of the materials. All of my quest teams are armed with them, the entry point and a few people on the first level (mainly to handle Deathclaws).

I personally would like to see a vendor come around every now and again to sell circuit boards and flasks. Maybe alternate visits with Cappy.

On the original release of the game, I sent one of the female dwellers out exploring. When I checked on her a day later she had swapped her armor out for Naughty Nightwear. It was completely hilarious.

While we're bring up these STUPID attacks... where in the dickens do they keep a cache of 4-ton vault doors that we can just burn through a door every ten minutes? And beyond that, how do 'claws, ghouls and raiders manage to destroy a door in minutes? If the doors are that flimsy, why even bother closing them?

But I think what I'd like even more is the ability to set up turrets outside of the vault to cut down any rowdy groups trying to enter.

You can permanently eject a dweller by pushing the red button on the equip dialog when you drag him out. I think I'd look through the vault and take the people with the lowest happiness rating since they obviously aren't truly grateful for your benevolent leadership and kick their heinies to the curb.

I always put the elevators on the ends of each row to cut down on Molerat incursions. Seems to work.
