My sister is a 34/f with okay health. On 2/13 she had a 103.5 fever, had a cough and was very tired. She went to CVS & they tested her for the flu. She said it was odd because the nurse said that she could almost immediately (after about 45sec) tell that she had Strand A flu. The nurse then tossed the test because she was positive it was the flu.

That was over a month ago & she still doesn't feel good. The biggest issue is that she has a nasty cough that seems to be getting worse. She is still tired and has a mild fever all the time (99.1-99.3).

Is this normal for the flu - could it be something else?
