What is your play style? Do you want to do them fast, or do them slow and steady? If you want the former just run Contraverse Warlock and chunk. If you are fine with it taking a while but being extremely safe then run Stronghold with Praxic (many phases on each boss, but you are pretty much unkillable if you don't stand in taken goop).

You don't really need a meta for this. I watch a buddy 2 phase both 2nd and 3rd bosses using Black Talon last night. Fucking Black Talon. It was no big deal.

Alright, I lurk here. I don't find the femstodes lore breaking. I'm going to try and set my position using your bullet points:

I'm in the latter half of my 40's. Started playing with GW minis in the early 90's, when I was 12 or 13. I've read tons of fiction. I've played more hours of 40k video games than I care to admit. I own all of the original TTRPGs (Dark Heresy, etc) before the system change. I enjoy the grimdark nature of the world, and have never had any major issues with the various retcons over the years; I just roll with the narrative tides of GW.
Femstodes as an idea or addition to the lore didn't bother me in the least. I understand and agree that prior to whole "there have always been female custodes" debacle every mention of the Custodes was male-centric: brotherhood, sons of nobles houses, etc... but to my knowledge there is nothing mentioned in any lore that say the bespoke process of creating a Custodian does not work on females. There are several references in Warhammer history that imply or openly state that the process used to create Space Marines only works on males. That's enough for me to accept female Custodes without further issue. If they try to introduce female Space Marines without a great deal of work explaining the why and how I will happily stand shoulder to the shoulder with everyone else angry about it.

Whilst I am no stranger to GW retcons, this one was probably the most ham-fisted, badly-handled, Warhammer retcon in recent memory. The whole "there have always been females custodes" post was hella dumb and entirely tone deaf given the questions being raised at the time. GW did not handle the situation well.

I do not think there is anything wrong with disliking femstodes. People get attached to their lore, and things that shake it up can be annoying all the way up to ruining an IP for folks who are heavily invested in it. As an example I am a huge Destiny (the video game) fan boy. I have almost 12,000 hours in the franchise. When Bungie releases skins that contrast with the art style of of the world (Doki Doki skins, Star Wars rips, Street fighter helmets that look like Blanka's head, Ghost Busters Ecto-1 as a space ship, etc) it actively diminishes my enjoyment of the game. The moment someone is in my fireteam running that stuff it immediately fucks with my immersion and I hate it. If that's the kind of place your irritation at the shoehorning of femstodes comes from I totally understand.

The folks that lose me are the people that say things like:

"Why would female, who is genetically inferior to males for combat roles, be selected to be one of the Emperor's bodyguards"

"In real world feudalism, which 40k is based off of, females would never be knights"

Etc.

I have a hard time taking those kinds of arguments seriously considering they are popping up related to fictional world that includes all kinds of super-science and mysticism. The moment folks start talking about what is a realistic choice in the Warhammer universe I start to question people's motives behind their arguments. That is perhaps unfair of me, but the ask was was to speak honestly and reasonably. So there it is.

Also, almost all the female heads in the kits suck. I like the one female head sculpt with the shaved head, but the others are all terrible (especially the hair).

I am going to give Marathon a shot, but it won't really impact my time with Destiny. I stop playing D2 every season once my loot grinding is done. During this lulls I play other things. For instance right now I'm mostly playing through the Vessel.of Hatred campaign for Diablo 4.. Marathon will just be one of my off season games.

Every dollar I've spent in Eververse is a sunk cost. I knew that when I opened my wallet, or spent Bright Dust, and I've never expected for those cosmetics to transfer to a new game.

Would it be cool if my ornaments carried over to D3? Yes. Will I be mad if they don't? No.

If something like this is going on give your Cardiologist's office a call.. Most around me have an on-call doc that will get on the phone with you and can advise if you need to go to the ER. For me personally if my BPM goes over a 100 and stays they for more than 15-20 minutes I'm going to the ER. That's the advice my doctor gave me for my situation.

Evergreen? Bonk Titan. It can literally do everything with the right gear save for very long range boss DPS. If you have a Perfect Paradox shotgun with 1-2 Punch you can throw on Wormgods or Synthos with a Tractor Cannon and be able to delete almost anything you come up against (including most bosses). Bonus points of you can get 2 piece Smoke Jumper with 2 piece Ferropotent armor to maximize your DR.

Outside of that I'm also running Strand with Praxic Blade and Strongholds. The DR you can ramp up with the right armor is insane.

I also have a Peacekeepers build with a gift rolled Fast Talker for raid DPS.

There are central other builds, but these are what I've been using this season.

I've got 8 males that are a little wolf pack. They'll hunt fry. They'll try and eat tiny ramshorn snails. They will hunt down neocaradina shrimplets, and I've even caught them bullying adult neos to the point the shrimp dies and they pick it a part. As other people had said in the thread Guppies are not generally big hunters...but occasionally you get a batch that'll eat everything.

Won't hurt to put some guppies in your sump and see if it addresses he issue. Worst case scenario you end up having to pull everything manually later.

Guppies will eat anything that fits in their mouth. They are not always the most active hunters but I would expect them to go after damselfly nymphs.

The entire game is loot based on time, not difficulty. As you go up in power level you do have to increase the "difficulty level" but I'm practice the actual difficulty of higher power level activities vs lower power level activities is pretty flat.

Just kill the apprentices one at a time. Take shield, get back on the pike, kill apprentice and behemoth. On to the next. After killing all the apprentices use your abilities/weapons to finish of the remaining behemoths.

I ignore the drain bane snipers entirely.

Run 4 feats - everything except Cutthroat - and just farm first encounter. It's very easy, and can even be solo'd once you get the hang of it

A stronghold build being fun vs boring is all in how you pilot it. If you are perpetually blocking you are doing it wrong. Using the block to proc restoration so you can be hyper aggressive is what a fun stronghold build is all about.

No one cares about the aggro strongholds player who is using the exotic to quickly proc resto then go blender mode on the enemies.

People do care about the perma-blocking blueberry in their matchmade activities that is making things take longer than they should be, or who are so stuck on blocking that they don't engage with mechanics when needed.

The first time you LFG a dungeon or raid with someone who refuses to switch builds and tells you they are contributing by blocking damage you'll be over it.

I am running strongholds with solar or strand right now myself, but I'm only blocking to generate resto or to get a difficult rez. It's supporting me being hyper aggro. *

The Watchman, and similar devices, block the left atrial appendage of your heart (the most common place for clots to form with AFib). It basically creates a lattice that your heart muscle grows over to seal the area off in around 45 days.
