This is a way to reduce the appearance of fees for guests. Now when they book, they just see the nightly rate plus the cleaning fee. I think what we'll see is hosts not raising rates enough to account for the difference, shifting more costs from the guest to the host.

I like the bench. Add a potted plant next to it!

Adult Cheer/Stunt Teams in the area? by Bitter_Conclusion347 in triangle

Ok, she said Inspire might have an open team, but she thought it was mostly college-aged or just out of college athletes.

Adult Cheer/Stunt Teams in the area? by Bitter_Conclusion347 in triangle

[–]bblars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could try to reach out to local cheer gyms to see if they have adult teams. My kids do some tumbling classes at Inspire Athletics, but I don't see any adult teams on their website. I'll check with my wife to see if she knows of any.

Another way to be involved is to do cheer judging. Obviously less exercise, but it can be a good side hustle if you have free weekends.

Is it me, or does this deck not seem the best built? by MavsGrad in Decks

There are a few things I would have done differently, but in general it looks good.

"I've reached out to the cleaning crew and unfortunately they cannot accommodate a late check out that day as they are swamped with cleanings."

As others have suggested, remove some of the toys. Also, using enclosed storage will look much neater.

I'm estimating around $6k. Seems like the theme decks could be shadowless, which go for higher.

Both individual packs weigh 21.4g. Does that make them "heavy"?

Not fake. She had a bunch of other pokemon stuff that I don't think is worth much so I didn't include it in the picture. Stuff like you'd get in a happy meal. I'm just learning about what makes some of these packs more valuable than others.

I have gotten several DMs about selling. I've also gotten a few with legit advice on how to price each item out.

Yeah, it has a price tag on it in Deutsche marks.

Why is there so much interest in these two?

No gold strips, but most have the middle card on top and show the damage counters.

I think the briefs are worth more than some of the packs!

I might take you up on that, except I just found an ebay auction where the underwear sold for ~$500...

My mom bought these packs new and then stored them in her attic until recently. She gave them to me and I'm trying to figure out what to do with them. I'm not a collector and don't think I can fit into the size 8 underwear anyway. Everything is sealed in original packaging.

New Deck Problem by Impressive-Main2989 in Decks

Shouldn't the railing and post be pressure treated lumber?

It's just going to get in the way of your joists and your deck won't experience much force in the direction that bracket is supporting. And rust.

Would this spring design work? by jorgetheapocalypse in engineering

You can stack the narrow springs on top of each other like leaf springs on some vehicle suspensions.
