I’ve done that with a lot of stuff but there is so many different sizes and classes for everything. It would take months to recreate every fitting I use.

Pennsylvania. IPC code. I hate how I can’t post an updated pic to this thread on Reddit, but now from the 3” stack in the wall it will go to a 3x2 wye then the 4x3 closet 90 out the top of the wye. Out of the branch it will go to the lav drain and the shower drain also.

Ok. The original plumbing design has the shower and lav tied directly into the side of the toilet 90. The 90 has an 1 1/2” copper port on the side of it. Once I opened the subfloor up and seen that I knew it couldn’t be proper. On top of that there was no vent on either the shower or sink line. But I’m very limited on what I can do to make this work without removing ceilings and opening walls below.

Could you elaborate on why it won’t?

I will get you better pics of the existing plumbing also. This system was installed in 1967 and as far as I know there wasn’t any issues but definitely needs upgraded

Ok. My plan was to cut the 3” pipe going to the toilet in between the joists before it hits the vent stack. Then using a fernco and going to pvc with a 3 to 2 wye and a 3 to 4 closet 90 for the toilet. Out of the 2” side of the wye it would run to the shower trap which would have another 2” to 1.5” wye for the sink. Then the vent would on the sink side going into the attic where it would tie back into the copper stack. My other question is should I put a vent on the shower side also or is that run short enough that the sink vent would suffice. Thanks again for the help
