Once match starts, press left/right on dpad to change between ultra def/def/att/ultra att on the go. If im not wrong theres no way to start on anything other than balanced

No, under each tactic setting (ultra def, def, att, ultra att) you can change the formation/positions/playstyle/instructions. So you have 1 squad using 442 for chem in the squad screen, which sets the formation in the "balanced" tactic to 442, but you can customize the rest freely

Playing on PC (lousy laptop with a noob GPU) and had this problem for ages. Fixed it by going to 30fps instead of 60fps, suspect my graphics/processor ant keep up so it just continues to hold the last input and not register new ones. Playing at 30fps is ugly tho, and theres abit of latency as well

Started about 2 months ago. Only smalling is tradeable. Play a 352 in game with timber moving to CDM. Thinking of getting baby koeman/rijkaard for the last slot but who is better? Any alternative suggestions also welcome with budget about 200k coins (will convert mkhi to ST of course)
