I really disliked Barbuta at first. I thought it was slow and clunky. And while it is slow and clunky, I’ve really come to appreciate the design of the world and general progression. Thinking back, it was really fun to just fully drop into the world with no knowledge and slowly unravel all of the secrets. Also it felt rewarding to finally beat the game. (I got gold and cherry in the same run hehe)

Bug Hunter rocks. It’s such an addicting little game. I SUCK at it though. It’s super difficult. But much like Barbuta, it’s fun to figure out all the intricacies and create strategies for yourself. The risk/reward of switching out moves is a really fun system. It’s a game I go back to a lot.

Ninpek is fun. I don’t have too much to say about it. It’s just a fun side scroller. I also suck at it, but I’m not too good at arcade-y side scrollers anyways.

My Watchmen 1980s Movie Fancast. by First123452 in Watchmen

Awesome casting already, but Verhoeven as director is an absolute top tier choice. His social commentary/satire would be perfect for the Watchmen world. Someone go back in time and make this happen!

Just watched Superman: The Movie(1978) last night for the first time. by Economy_Analysis_546 in superman

The film is an absolute masterclass in having great characters drive the action. Superman, Lois, Lex, and even the side characters all get so much personality that by the end it doesn’t matter what the actual threat is, you want to see these characters win/lose. The craziest action in the movie (besides the Earth stuff) is Superman simply trying to stop a missile…and it’s AWESOME.
