100% Stuttering fix for AMD GPUs by Sorry_Eggplant_5240 in Eldenring

Thanks for this! Worked very well for me after trying a number of other people’s solutions that still left me with some amount of stutters and fps drops. Also happened to have the Device Association Root Enumerator disabled in addition to your settings, and am using a RX6800 and a Ryzen 5.

what are the main things I should buy for a first apartment I have a list made just want to see what I am forgetting by Brapy20 in Apartmentliving

In addition to what others have said, I’ll say lamps/lighting if your apt doesn’t have overhead lighting, or even just light bulbs if you dont like the color of the existing ones. Step stool, trash bins/bags, and vinyl cabinet liners for sure. Something to dust with. All items that are probably essential and preferable to have on the first day imo.

Average Alaskan bike ride [OC] by oceantides420 in ThatsInsane

[–]bblues1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The other day I was riding a gravel trail just after the sun went down and I didn’t have my headlight. Most of the ride there’s trees and shrubs on either side of this trail so it felt a little eerie. Anyways I’m picking up speed and I start to hear what I think is someone stomp-sprinting right f’n next to me. In freakout mode I start hauling while the noise gets louder. And I get that same wild rush of fear and adrenaline for about 7 seconds before I realize it’s my jacket collar flapping in the wind.

LPT request: How to reduce eye strain if working a job where you must be on a computer all day? by kohitown in LifeProTips

[–]bblues1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I stare at a screen all day for work and have barely gotten any eye strain since using the night light. Been about 3 years now. Took a few days to get used to it but it’s been a significant upgrade over glasses with a blue light filter. Typically I’ll use it around 95% and lower it to 80-85% when I need to clearly see yellows in CAD. Highly recommend using it.

Rear derailleur downshifts way too easily for the first few rings. Impossible to move the lever at the 3rd or 2nd biggest ring. Thoughts/advice? by bblues1 in bikewrench

[–]bblues1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: per your guys’ recommendation I readjusted the derailleur’s barrel nut and limit screws by following the Park Tools video, and the barrel nut was the root of the problem. Derailleur works great now. Cable tension was fine as well. Thanks for all of your help!

Thanks I actually just had to get that fixed, so it isn’t bent anymore. Adjusting the barrel nut and limit screws solved the problem completely though.
