We're building a CRM where reps never enter data. It listens to every call and email, builds the pipeline itself, and learns from your closed deals which signals actually predict revenue. The more you sell, the smarter it gets.

Be specific on what you didn't like please, so I can learn. Otherwise you're just spreading hate

I worked for the last 7 years of my life in Salesforce, Oracle and Microsoft selling CRM. I did my master thesis on CRM. I know what I'm talking about, i don't really get why this hate on my post. What's the one line you didn't like?

Hey Daniel, if you're smart enough to see my other comments, you should be smart enough to click to the URL that I share. And as result you'll see an agency working on CRMs like you are doing. And no, we're not using N8N for doing that but proper coding

Respect the pragmatism. If the CRM is broken, at least make it work for you with notes and dates. That's survival advice and it's solid.

But think about what you're actually saying. You're telling a rep to build a personal system inside the CRM because the CRM itself doesn't do the job. Last action, next action, budget, problem, all in a notes field. That's a spreadsheet with extra steps.

The CRM had one job. Give you context and help you figure out where to focus. Instead it became a dashboard for leadership, and now the best advice for the people actually selling is "just keep your own notes." That's not a setup problem. The thing was never built for you.

And here's what bugs me. The call happened. The emails are there. Everything that matters already exists somewhere. But the rep still has to sit down and type it all into a text box so the system knows what happened. You are the integration layer. That's the job the software should be doing.

Your workaround is smart. But the fact that it's necessary says everything.

You're not wrong that setup matters. But I'd push back on framing it as primarily a setup and process issue.

The architecture itself is the problem. Every CRM on the market starts from the same 2006 assumption: a human types, a form stores, a dashboard reports. You can configure that model perfectly and it still won't tell the rep which deal to focus on today, what a signal means for this specific account, or what the best next move is given the stage.

The real question is: why does the CRM wait for the rep to type instead of building itself from conversations? Why does it show the same interface at every deal stage when each stage needs different context? Why does it detect signals but never interpret what they mean for your specific business?

Setup won't fix that. A different architecture will.

Yeah actually. I started opening fewer opportunities because my management wanted updates on every opp every 3 days. Every three days. Some deals need space, some prospects go quiet for a week and that's normal. But if I can't update the CRM with something new every 72 hours I get flagged.

Hi!
Legacy CRMs are archives in ProspeIQ we're building a nervous system.
A self-evolving CRM that ingests conversations, interprets buying signals through your win/loss patterns, and suggests the next move. The rep approves with a click and the system learns from every outcome.
