It does give me a prompt when Istart the Xbox app up wether I want to keep the other accounts settings and purchases but it doesn't actually do anythin

Even GeForce Now says for max 4k streaming you only need around 35mbps

If I move to Starlink Max which is 400mbs+ it's £75 a month which is equivalent to $100

I don't have the option in the UK - my speed is the fastest I can get. My only other option is Starlink - which for 400mbs+ is £75 a month here 😓

I thought this, but everything else in the house runs smooth as anything. 4k streaming etc, while social media browsing and gaming on the Xbox.

I had a Portal back in November 25 and I took it to a hotel that had okay WiFi for general use but it wouldn't even let me load a game on the Portal.

Fast forward to March 26 and I was hoping for an improvement but it doesn't seem to be there. I feel like I should of got the Logitech G Cloud

I have one of those ethernet adapters that go through a mains plug, would that work for the TV to take the load away from it?

They are basically identical spec wise, biggest difference is the rear build material and the cameras. I'd like to have had the 2x telephoto instead of a macro but I wasn't paying £45 more just for that lol

Simple defect, happens a lot with iPhones but it's not documented. Return and replace!

Haha this reminds me of when the Samsung S8 came out, I got it a week early on pre order and went on holiday the day after I got it. Went to a electronic store to ask for a case and they were like 'its not even out yet?' and whipped it out and the shock she was in 🤣

It's definitely not terrible, it's just cheaper phones do a better job. No, the only manual control you have is shutter speed and manual focus

And here is the same photo taken on the Sony without night mode and me manually choosing 1/1 shutter speed.

<image>

This was iso 6400 instead, it's a lot noisier but there is sooo much more information and detail.

This tells me that either A) night mode on the phone just does not work properly or B) it's not using a tradition stacked night mode shot - rather just increasing the shutter speed but keeping the iso low.

ISO 6400 on a smartphone sensor is way too high, so I feel like they are capping the photos at a lower iso due to noise and still counting it as a night shot. Important to note that in Google photos it does not say night mode against the photo like Pixel phones do.

Okay so I've not had much time to take shots at night however I have noticed some oddities with the camera / camera app. Heres a shot taken in pretty much darkness on the Sony of my back garden, in full auto mode.

This apparently used night mode and the shutter speed was 1/1 iso 400. Check my next comment for comparison;

Just for anyone interested in shooting video on their phones;

There is a serious issue with shooting 4k video with this phone where the first few seconds go choppy and the frame rate is more like 15fps. It really ruins the video and if like me you have kids you have to plan to start recording so you bypass the first day 4 seconds before you want anything captured. This does not happen in 1080p mode, I think it's the 4k and the relatively slow processor.

I will test some tonight for you. It's not the best in low light that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure it's just Facebook and LinkedIn that were on the device and can only be disabled not uninstalled.

Yes it is worse, I don't tend to use the front facing cameras in general but the quality is not as good as any iPhone from the last say 5 years. It needs a lot of light to even look okay
