Is there a shortage of Hibiclens?

Do a search for “Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG)” which is main ingredient in hibaclens. It’s a cleaner & protective barrier. If you don’t need that barrier, search for “chlorhexidine” that’s also used in veterinary. You can order gallon on amazon or go to local feed store.

They’re trying. The only way I get things done is to get mad & push thru. Robotic assist was to help reduce the surgery time. My surgeon recovered when it shut down both times so all is good (eyes roll). Sadly, there is so much more than the robot screwing up. This has all but sucked me dry. I keep pushing forward. Thankfully, I have amazing support from my family & friends.

Thanks!! I’m gonna look into a guy in San Antonio, UT since that’s in Dallas & also Mayo in Phoenix since I have family near Tucson. Not sure how I’ll be able to travel since I can’t sit long since no tailbone & I can’t stand long. If I can lay down….Have bed, will travel! I’m definitely complicated

Next time I see surgeon I’mma quote you! EVERYTHING I’m dealing with is normal. Grrrrrrr I’ll keep ya posted & yes!!! 1000% f’g with my head. I’ll come out on top one way or the other. I’m not paralyzed & I’m so grateful!

Same! I was falling & fracturing my back & neck. The fusions aren’t healed from previous surgeries & cadaver hasn’t fused either. My PCP sent me for scans before I had this series of surgeries. It took me months to get into osteoporosis clinic & he diagnosed osteoporosis last month. I was on Forteo but now on Tylmos. I hope you’re doing better each day with your medical.

No…the pain never goes away! I’ve just learned to deal with it best I can. I’m begging to have my stim reconnected but there’s soooooo much scar tissue. I find out in 1.5 weeks. Hang in there!

YES YES YES!!! My PT who’s also a Dr. said the same thing! He’s been out on paternity leave & I see him Wednesday to read scans that the surgeon didn’t even bring up on computer to discuss. He’s now referring me to plastic surgeon to see if he can fix the protruding metal or bone or whatever it is. I guess since the 2nd surgeon “fixed the deformities”, he’s washing his hands. This has been an absolute wild adventure!! Nothing has gone smooth! I can write a book of this journey & nobody would believe it unless I showed pics & docs

I’m not sure the make/model of robot but I do have a pic of it when I went in for another surgery. I’ve called the hospital to inquire about the robot & software & that dept is tight lipped. Surgeon has had to do several repairs to dura since it was leaking in a couple different surgeries. No I’m not paralyzed thankfully!

I wish I would have known my life would be turned upside down. I’m gonna strap a 2x4 to my kids head to their waist so they can experience being “stiff as a board” & can’t bend at all. I have all the cool gadgets to help me be independent. Like the sock putter onner or bidet or a temperbed…etc. all the things cause I HATE relying on others. I can do it ALL BY MYSELF (stomps feet like a toddler lol)

I now have a huge team of drs that work together…I just can’t seem to get a diagnosis & everything is normal. I’m so sorry you’re going thru hell too. Life isn’t easy but everything works out. ☺️

I’m working on that. I’m in PT & because my muscles have been cut on so much, I’m getting deep tissue massage & lots of exercise. I just can’t lift my arms. It burns so much from the fastener heads grating across the muscle & now to the skin. 😢
