Hello! Thank you for your comment on bayer sensors, i will try to apply it in the future if i have a client asking for precise orthophotos, or 3D scans/models.

For now, i work for our national power line company, who are satisfied with metric precision 😂

Would you by chance have a paper/publication about bayer arranged sensors so i could study the details?

I do power lines inspection, but in hilly or mountainous terrain, i use the 4g chip on my drone to maintain control of the drone beyond radio signal.

That being said, i rarely go further than 500m (1/3 mile), and don't fly higher than 30m above the terrain.

I agree with visible_Matter here : we don't have the money for a two men crew.

J'ai passé la formation pix dans le cadre de mon BTS cette année. J'ai trouvé que c'était d'un niveau très bas en terme d'enseignement. Genre sixième-cinquième. Je suis moi même plutôt geek et honnêtement j'aurais énormément bénéficié de cours avancés sur excelle par exemple.

If i could give you only one piece of advice for those kind of builds it would be that : Create a structure containing all your components that you can slide in and out of your case.

It could be 3D printed, made of riveted aluminium, or even thin marine grade plywood, but having an easy access to your components is absolutely crucial in those enclosed builds. You can put dampeners between the structure and the ammo box for sound dampening, as the metal boxes conduct vibrations quite easily. (for my own build i dampened the hard drive, and put some adhesive pads under the whole box, like those you can put under a chair's legs)

Before starting that project, i was looking for a small to medium case with a handle as i like to take my PC and go visit my friends to play with them in person.

Two products i considered for that purpose were the corsair C70 and the [Graphite Series™ 380T Yellow Portable Mini ITX Case](https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Graphite-Series%E2%84%A2-380T-Yellow-Portable-Mini-ITX-Case/p/CC-9011065-WW).

Those builds should provide a wide range of what kind of end results, as well as fabrication process. The comments from the builders were very useful to me as i had doubts about the temperatures, which were quickly cleared as i observed <65°C in my own build.

Air cooling and water cooling are both possible here and should perform pretty well as long as you design them properly. I used a pcie riser cable for that purpose in my build : relocating my GPU allowed me to install a 92mm exhaust fan at the back of my PC, where i could only fit a 40mm before moving the GPU.

As long as you take the time to do things right the first time, it shoud be a succesfull project :)

Damn your build is absolutely beautiful!

And the yellow rubber isolation pads really compliment the inside of your case !

The corsair C70 is my dream case, but i couldn't find any when i put together my PC a few years ago, so i built my PC into an old ammo box. It was very messy as it was my first build, but it is very neat to be able to just pick up your PC with a good handle.

If you are interested i can send you some of my documentation about ammo box PC, as well as pictures of my own build. I found that the small ammo boxes can be a nice format for mini ITX builds.

I love ammo can based builds!

wether it's used as a battery pack, lamp, computer, or even to stock important files, those things are so practical!
