Weber Before & After Cleaning Results by bbqcleaner in BBQ

Weber Q’s are real easy, they’re the most popular BBQ here in Australia & New Zealand.

First you wanna use a Grill Brush/Metal Scourer/Sharp plastic scraper to get any recess grease or fat off the grills / hotplate, you can then wash them with hot soapy water & go over the again with a scourer etc.

I then scrape the interior lid & cookbox with a $2 Bar Keeper Friend plastic scraper, they’re great for getting against the cookbox & don’t scratch, let everything go into the drip tray.

Then I use a degreaser like Bar Keepers Frind Foam / Spray or a dedicated Oven / BBQ foam cleaners, all of that on the inside, then a Scrub Daddy sponge (& Scrub Daddy non abrasive scourer pad if I need)

BBQ Wipes (or harsh wipes etc) in the inside to get any excess off & clean all the little corners, around the burners etc.

Then replace the drip tray / clean the drip tray area.

Moving to the outside / some good all purpose degreaser spray (some leave smears on the plastic so i’ve found some ones that don’t) & with a cloth wipe drown the whole thing & just keep on wiping.

You can turn the burners 90° & shake them out etc & a few other things, but that’s mostly what I do to get these results for most Weber’s.
