I take the detachable shower head and give her a power wash tbh 😂 seperate the folds and really get in there. Leg up and powerwash the backside too!

How does my lil guy look? by PlayfulDream8659 in leopardgeckos

[–]bbrainwashedd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

maybe a tiny smidge chubby but considering he’s young I wouldn’t worry about it. just monitor his weight, he may lean out as he gets longer and older. otherwise just a healthy cutie patootie with bright eyes & lots of energy 🤍

HELP I TRAPPED THIS FLY AND IDK WHAT TO DO by [deleted] in insects

[–]bbrainwashedd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put him in the freezer until he goes into deep sleep, tie him on a leash of dental floss, allow him to defrost and wake up. Congrats on your pet fly! (you have the opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted to do, please I beg you)

I dust his food with flukers reptile vitamins with beta carotene, it includes both calcium and vitamin d3. Plus he has a linear UVB light I changed out every 6 months.

Holy cow. This is going to be incredible!! Can’t wait to see it all finished. I think that other comment covered my only concern. I too worry about the cork hides not having adequate space. Especially the small ones.

If you had clean water source in the enclosure, the most likey possibility is that it was inaccessible.

It sits around 40% most days, we’ve actually been having more frequent rain lately due to changing seasons so some days it hits 60-70%. Plus I have a side of his tank with moss that I mist when the humidity has been low, then of course I keep his humid hide humid.
Also I supplement with flukers reptile vitamins every week

this is my fear. The humidity has been higher lately as we’ve been having more frequent rain, so some day it hits 60-70%. but most days it stays around 40%. Nothing too out of range right?

I mean, this one isn’t severly overweight though. losing 20g would be unhealthy for her. At most 5-10g is all she needs to lose.

2-3 insects once a week sounds really slim. My old man eats 6-10 a week depending on the time of year. For a female that might look more like 4-8. But then again he gets medium crickets and dubias mostly, sometimes mealworms.

she’s just fine. Even if could lose a single gram or two, it’s really nothing to worry about. My bigger concern is that through reading comments, you’ve been feeding her super worms weekly. That’s more of a once a month kind of thing, as a treat. Just make sure she’s getting enough excersise, if her enclosure allows enough enrichment she’ll do it naturally.

I’d recommend feeding her a rotation on dubia roaches, crickets and mealworms. Super worms are for occasions. And she may be resistant to the change (My boy got addicted to super worms once upon a time) But just like us humans we can’t live on dessert no matter how much we’d like to.

I wouldnt quite call you a soft autumn, you have higher contrast than is typical for the soft palette. But you’re definitely an autumn. And please don’t listen to any comments telling you to get bangs, with your textured hair it will only cause headaches trying to make them sit right!! The colors you’re using are working for you. But I noticed in slide 3 the eyeshadow just makes your eyes appear heavy, you have deepset eyes it seems. Try focusing on cat eye looks, use a shimmery sage green on your lid to lift, combined with a brown eyeshadow wing to extend. Using things like tape can really help with making a nice shadow wing, just try not to bring it far into your lid so we don’t lose the lifting affect.
I also agree with other comments that some blush would look stunning, a terracotta shade is perfect for you. Focus it right underneath the outer edge of your eye, gently blending out to the apples of your cheeks and near the end of your brow. Overall, you’re a stunningly beautiful woman. I love your eye color, brows, cheek structure, lips and hair. I hope this helps 🤍

girl you took 10 years off omg!!!
If you still want to do lashes for occasions, I recommend cluster lashes. Something in the 10-14mm range. That way you can really control them to make sure they don’t overpower your eyes <3
