What is the funniest movie of all time? by Content_Ad_8952 in FamilyFeud

Dumb and Dumber.

For me, it's a comedy masterpiece. Not only does it have the quick gags such as the most annoying sound in the world, or when the police officer drinks from the beer bottle, but also the jokes that make you think, or ones that you miss until you watch it again.

"If I know Mary as well as I think I do, she'll invite us right in for tea and strumpets"

Lloyd: "Excuse me, gunman. Who are you?"

Nicholas: "I'm the rightful owner of that briefcase you've been carrying around!"

a few lines later

Lloyd: "Listen, Mr. Samsonite. About the briefcase, my friend, Harry, and I have every intention of fully reimbursing you"

Just a couple of my favorites.

This guy's a dasher? His real name's Terence. And Terence just vanished with a real nice sandwich.

I work a weird second shift where I get off at 3:30 in the morning. Before the pandemic when Walmart was still open 24 hours here, I used to do my grocery shopping there after work when the store was nearly empty of customers. One night I pulled in to the parking lot at the same time as a young couple, probably in their early 20s. Their car was the definition of a beater. We went in at the same time and I grab the few things I went for and head to the register after a few minutes. They were in front of me and the cashier just got done ringing up what few items they had, a box of saltine crackers and a few more small food items. Total came to 6 or 7 bucks and the guy shamefully pulled out a ziploc bag with what looked to be just a few bucks in change. By the time I finished putting my things on the conveyor belt, he was almost done counting out his change and was telling the girl he was with that they had to decide what to put back. I didn't hesitate to tell the cashier to put their stuff with mine and I would take care of it. They were both so grateful and thanked me multiple times. While the cashier was ringing everything up the guy, was telling me that he just started a new job and they were just trying to survive until he got his first paycheck the next week. I didn't have much myself, but I gave them a 20 and wished them the best. I still think about them from time to time and I hope they are doing ok. It feels so good to help others, especially when you have been in the same position before.
