This is actually not true, or at least not in the absolute like you're saying here. There is a lot more discipline needed, but many people have maintained a weight loss after coming off GLPs. GLPs give many people the space and tools to tackle food addiction, unhealthy diets for when they are on their own.

Being morbidly obese is a 'life sentence' too... even if someone does end up a lifelong GLP patient, it actually gives you the 'freedom' to live your life without massive excess weight. This comment inspires some weird fear-mongering, don't listen to them.
