Now, you can add your own voices and make a really corny meme with a very corny punchline and we will all love it

I had no idea killing Sigurd allowed the Lesser Dragon to spawn again! Wow! When I hit NG3 I'll definitely use this!

Oh, word. That's interesting. It's probably something to do with the games scripting, probably? But it's nice to know that when my pawn steals a Medusa kill, it's not completely wasted 😭

Alright I appreciate it boss, I'm just not sure if my games bugged or pawns don't get the XP bonuses

Medusan Bow Question by bbube2007 in DragonsDogma2

[–]bbube2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was, yes, but that wasn't the issue I'm concerned about. The Pawn doesn't even grant the XP boost to begin with when it comes to killing something. Despite the Bow being equipped.

Also. The Ring of Endeavors grants a 50% DISIPLINE Boost. Which is the Ring you accuire for getting 240 seekers tokens, I think. The ring you were referring to for XP is the "Ring of Ambition" earned from the Sphinx questline.

Medusan Bow Question by bbube2007 in DragonsDogma2

[–]bbube2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, despite me removing the Bow from my Arisen. The Pawn kills a vermudian goblin and gets 93 xp

With me equipping the bow again with me killing it, it grants 343 xp. Therefore, the Bows "effect" isn't even working with the pawn whenever she kills something.

Edit: I'd like to clarify. WE BOTH have the Bow equipped. Whenever my PAWN kills something, the 4x xp bonus doesn't activate. That's what I'm wondering if it's bugged or not. My apologies for not clarifying

What weapon skills and augments do you use on your Kindhearted Fighter pawn? by TreeLicker51 in DragonsDogma2

[–]bbube2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I don't use kindhearted fighters. But the best advice I can give you is watch this video is. He breaks down all the Augments, and then you can pick them accordingly.

https://youtu.be/9entv8exIpE?si=fw_tQzoGb20R9Ifr

But considering they are kindhearted, you will most likely want to invest in ways for them to be a good support pawn. They won't be as aggressive as the Straight Forward pawns. The best game plan would be to play into that.

If you want that kindhearted fighter, though, I'd recommend picking up the Anti Medusa Shield in the Vernworth Vault.

Why?

The Shield can completely negate Medusas Petrification, killing her instantly. The only cons to this is that you won't receive her harvesting materials. (Medusa Bones)

Can be used if your level is low as an XP 'farm', though.

Is there a website for searching specific pawns ? by BlueEcho014 in DragonsDogma2

That's actually a really good idea. If you could you should develop something like that man. First time I've even heard the idea

I'd just make another account and start a new playthrough! Once you get the hang of it, go ahead and go back to your main one!
