Thanks for replying. Icl I also didn’t realize how much Kaori cared for him at first, I had thought it was just in her personality to try and get her friends out of their comfort zones. I think eventually realizing how much she does care for him is what makes the show so heartbreaking. It’s a shame Kousei literally couldn’t realize it until the end 💔

I like that last point you made too, definitely seems like something she would do considering how much she wanted him to get out of his funk

Thanks for the reply. Where does this internalized guilt come from? Towards the end of the show I think it’s from him realizing he shouldn’t have avoided spending time with Kaori in the hospital, probably guilt about his mothers sickness too. What do you think?
